Appointment on Saturday 10 June in Poggio dei Pini , Capoterra , for the final event of “ The pieces of 90 of Epulae, a combination of music & flavors not to be missed ”.
The initiative, which includes tastings of wines, spirits and liqueurs awarded in Verona by Epulae on the occasion of Vinitaly 2023 , will be opened at 9.30 pm, in Piazza Ricchi, by the performance (free admission) of the singer and multi-instrumentalist Salvo Tozzi .
The show offers a preview of the artist's last 12 pieces , with texts by the writer Laura Spada and music and arrangements by Tozzi himself.
On stage also Sandra Ruggeri on keyboards and Giulia Vacca in a dance on choreographies created to accompany the music videos.
At the end of the concert, with a small contribution to support the cultural activities of Epulae, the evening, which will be presented by Laura Spada and Angelo Concas , will kick off the tasting of over 200 wines, spirits and liqueurs and two first courses prepared in show cooking by chef Samuel Mervyn , president of the Cagliari-South Sardinia Chefs association, who will be accompanied by other chefs from the ACCSS team
To enrich the night the soulful-funky house musical selections by Dj Nick Tixi and the masterclass of Epulae.
Furthermore, in the Epulae study center, a masterclass of about two and a half hours will be held by reservation (from 5 pm), reserved for a maximum of 48 participants , to discover the peculiarities of a dozen Sardinian wines obtained from native vines . The masterclass will be curated by Angelo Concas , national president of Epulae, food and wine journalist and master sommelier, by Mariano Murru , winemaker and president of Assoenologi Sardegna, by Antonio Manca , winemaker and vice president of Assoenologi Sardegna, and by Daniele Manca , consultant winemaker.
