Emergency room, the Region is looking for doctors at 85 euros per hour for less serious cases
The tender for the rental of gowns is underway: almost ten million euros to avoid the closure of departments in the hospitals of Gallura, Nuorese, Oristanese, Medio Campidano and Sulcis-IglesientePer restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
Just over six and a half million. To be precise: 6,560,640 euros for 12 months. Which with the mandatory fifth, the possibility of extension and other mandatory expenses becomes 9 million and 947 thousand euros.
After a tug-of-war (and many misunderstandings in the Health Department), the tender is underway to recruit the doctors on lease who, dealing only with white and green codes, will have to contribute to avoiding the closure of the emergency rooms of Sardinia's hospitals. A measure harshly criticized by the M5S when the center-right governed, which is now being relaunched: the alternative, it seems, would be to block the departments due to lack of personnel.
Each doctor will cost 85 euros per hour. The professionals will go to work at Giovanni Paolo II, Paolo Merlo and Paolo Dettori (Asl Gallura), San Francesco and San Camillo (Asl Nuoro), San Martino, Delogu and Mastino (Asl Oristano), San Gavino (Asl Medio Campidano), Sirai and Cto (Asl Sulcis). For Gallura alone, an expense of over 3 million euros is expected.
According to the specifications, published on August 13, it will work like this.
The procedure is divided into five lots. Whoever (company or cooperative) wins one or more, based on the offer, will have to make doctors available who will have to guarantee "the active medical service on call, for the Emergency Rooms or First Aid Points of the PP.OO. of Sardinia". No emergencies, only "minor codes": for the most serious patients there will be doctors from the ASL, subjected to overtime and grueling shifts. While for the paid doctors the hours are pre-established by the contract, then everyone goes home.
Bids can arrive until September 9th. Then, barring unforeseen circumstances, the award will be made. And the lab coats will start working.
