The alleged improper use of service cars used by officers is at the center of a double investigation by the military prosecutor of Rome and the prosecutor of the Republic of Cagliari involving the Aves Squadron Group Detachment, Orsa Maggiore, of Elmas.

In recent months, the investigators of the Carabinieri Military Police of the Army Military Command have seized documents and interviewed about fifty witnesses, including soldiers and civilians.
