State Police checks continue on the main roads in the province of Sassari and Gallura.
The operators of the Traffic Police Section of Sassari and of the Detachments of Olbia and Tempio Pausania conducted a series of activities to combat driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
Overall, over the past weekend, twenty-four driving licenses were withdrawn for drivers found to be in a state of alcoholic intoxication, while a young novice driver tested positive for drugs. Another centaur, on the other hand, was pinched without insurance coverage.
"Also in the coming weeks - explains the State Police - there will be numerous control services on the roads of the province which will be concentrated, above all, in the vicinity of the tourist resorts".
