A newly licensed driver, he was driving drunk , forced a roadblock, was chased, drove the wrong way and crashed.

The evening ended badly for a twenty-year-old from Dolianova who tried to evade police checks: in addition to being reported for a series of offences, he lost his licence, which was revoked, and his car, which was impounded.

It all began when the police ordered him to stop on one of the town's streets. Instead of stopping, he accelerated sharply, speeding away. A brief but dangerous chase ensued, ending shortly thereafter in a rural area, where the young man, after driving the wrong way, lost control of his vehicle and ended up off the road in some farmland, fortunately without injuring himself or anyone else.

A breathalyzer test revealed he had been drinking too much. He was charged with resisting a public officer and driving under the influence of alcohol.
