Intensified checks on Sardinian roads during the August 15 bridge. The Traffic Police of Cagliari, in collaboration with the Detachments of Carbonia, Muravera and Sanluri, guarded the main arteries, including the 131, 554 and 125 Var, as well as the entire hinterland of the metropolitan city, ascertaining 134 offences.

Many excesses of speed, as many as 27, with the limit often exceeded by more than 40 km per hour. On the other hand, nine cars without insurance, the drivers often justified the facts with a trivial oversight even if the insurance had expired in some cases for months.

Six people were charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, one driver in particular driving at about four times the legal rate. One person tested positive for drugs.

A total of 7 vehicles were seized and three administrative detentions were carried out, 33 licenses were withdrawn and 420 points were reduced. The average age of reported motorists is 30 years, confirming a tendency for younger people to drive after drinking, especially during the holidays.
