Tragedy prevented in the early hours of the morning of Sunday 21 April along the 131 near Oristano.

The agents of the Traffic Police of the Laconi Detachment, who intervened after several reports to 112 from motorists who had crossed him at their own risk, stopped the driver of a white van who was traveling against traffic .

The man, a 34-year-old , was subjected to a breathalyzer test, which gave a positive result, with a blood alcohol level twice higher than the maximum limit allowed by law. His license was withdrawn and it also emerged that he had already been suspended for four months in 2019 for driving while intoxicated .

The intervention of the officers averted a possible tragedy, given the importance of the road and given that the event occurred on Sunday morning.
