A 56-year-old from Nulvi was asked for 9 years in prison yesterday in court in Sassari for possession of narcotics and possession, receiving and modification of weapons , plus a 39,000 euro fine.

The request was made by prosecutor Erica Angioni during the discussion in which she reviewed a story that originated in 2017 in the town of Sassari, when a veterinarian found weapons and drugs in his warehouse and immediately reported the matter to the police . The military traced the profile of the 56-year-old, with numerous criminal records, finding his genetic material in one of the seven dog-swatting pistols found, five of which were modified.

In the room the police also discovered 2 kg of marijuana, 250 rounds of ammunition , a balaclava and a cell phone whose SIM card was registered in the name of the accused. The man's lawyer, Tania Decortes, reported that the evidence against her client is actually only evidence that does not highlight her client's responsibility . The panel chaired by Giancosimo Mura, alongside Monia Adami and Sara Pelicci, postponed until December for the replies.
