Preserving the health and safety of adolescents attending schools in Sassari . This is the objective behind the operation carried out by the local police who denounced 9 young people, all involved in drug dealing in schools . Six of them - residing in three municipalities in the hinterland and in the city - have been notified of precautionary measures with the obligation to stay at home between 6 and 6 in the morning, they will not be able to attend entertainment venues, they will not be able to communicate with each other, they have been included in an educational path that will be defined by the Usma juvenile services at the Juvenile Court of Sassari. The precautionary measure of home stay was applied to a minor.

It all started thanks to the school principals who repeatedly reported to the Via Carlo Felice Command officers that some students, during class hours, showed inattention and drowsiness.

The investigations started in January through a control activity carried out by the agents of the urban security unit, also carried out with the support of micro-cameras which made it possible to collect important elements, in particular what happened in a quarter of an hour: between 7, 55 and at 8.10 the young people involved arrived in the city from the hinterland, by public transport. During two months of daily checks, a frenetic drug dealing activity was documented, characterized by the transfer of drugs behind the delivery of money , which involved students between the ages of fourteen and eighteen.

The exchange between the banknotes and the narcotic substance took place on time, on a daily basis. Some young people consumed it on the street, others went to school with the substance hidden in their backpacks.

The most dynamic kids in the shop are between fourteen and sixteen years of age, while there are even younger kids among the consumers.
