New extension , until 30 June 2025 , of the regional state of emergency linked to drought .

The measure comes from the 41st regional council and, as communicated in a post by Alessandra Todde, comes following the "persistence of the emergency situation linked to the water deficit".

As reported by the governor, during the same session, "over 48.6 million euros were also allocated for 8 interventions for the prevention of hydrogeological risk within the scope of the ERDF 2021-2027 Programme, aimed at promoting adaptation to climate change".

Also planned are 35 million euros for port works under the jurisdiction of the region . «We urgently restore – Todde specifies – the Visconti and Lo Frasso piers of the port of Alghero and carry out seismic risk prevention interventions on public buildings and infrastructures in the territory of the "minor islands": in the ports of Calasetta, Carloforte, La Maddalena, Cala Reale-Isola dell'Asinara (Porto Torres) and Sant'Antioco».
The assignment of 8 million euros to the AGRIS agency was also approved "in order to allow interventions and measures aimed at promoting the protection, safeguard and production of fish stocks, considered strategic as they are also included in the 2024-2029 Development Program".

4 million euros will then finance, in 14 municipalities of Sardinia, "urgent interventions for the recovery and safety of public buildings susceptible to the risk of collapse, properties of value and historical interest, as well as interventions for the redevelopment and regeneration of social aggregation centers and points of attraction for the communities involved".

The new draft Convention regarding the Establishment of the Regional Road Safety Monitoring Centre, financed under the National Road Safety Plan, was also approved. The project envisages a total expenditure of 3.5 million euros.
