An almost three kilometer long pipeline to connect the Decimomannu military airport base to the nearby Decimoputzu reservoir . Tomorrow, Wednesday 12 June, Abbanoa technicians will carry out the connections of the new pipeline. During operations, between 8am and 6pm, there may be temporary drops in pressure and interruptions in the town centre.
This is an investment of approximately 2 million euros financed by the Region (through the Program of structural interventions for the functional reorganization and integration of the works of the integrated water system) plus an integration of the funds from the Abbanoa budget.
The work will make it possible to guarantee an adequate flow of drinking water resources to meet the needs of the base and of the new International flight training school, IFTS. In detail, Abbanoa is building a 2.7 kilometer pipeline connecting the Decimoputzu reservoir fed by the Campidano Aqueduct and the military base.
