Dolianova renewed her vow to Saint Biagio , the martyred bishop of Sebaste who lived in the third century, invoked for protection from diseases affecting the throat. The Parteolla center dedicates three days of celebration to him.

Today the most important appointment with the procession through the streets of the town accompanied by the folk groups of Dolianova, Samassi, Settimo San Pietro and Maracalagonis, by the band of the Circolo Musicale Parteollese and by the knights of Dolianova. These days the whole community is mobilized for a fundraiser aimed at building a chariot for the saint.

The San Biagio committee, led by Luca Dessi, has already purchased an old agricultural cart , identical to the one used to transport Sant'Efisio from Cagliari to Nora, which will be the basic structure on which to build the chariot. Tomorrow is the final day of the festival: at 18.30 there will be a mass in honor of San Sebastiano which will be followed by the co-patronal procession. At 10pm, in Piazza Europa, the performance in Sardinian by the Doliense Theater Company. Grand finale with the fireworks display.
