Disappeared from Fertilia, his cell phone signal intercepted at Arenosu

There is hope of finding Giovanni Leonardo Acca, better known as Gianardo, 59 years old, resident of Fertilia, who has disappeared since last Monday morning.

His son Samuele says from his Facebook page that the police would have traced the cell phone signal. «The police informed us that a telephone number registered in my father's name was traced this morning at 10.50 in the Pineta Arenosu area. The area narrows the search field. We are now beating the area and all the surrounding areas. The area is also a transit point towards other municipalities. I ask anyone who has time to keep an eye open. Now we're taking him home", writes Samuele Acca.

The man, a former Air Force non-commissioned officer, had left in a gray 2002 Audi A2 on Monday morning, taking with him his mobile phone charger and his wallet. His cell phone had connected to the cell covering Fertilia airport at 1.30pm on Monday, then it turned off. Today he gave a signal again.
