The traveling bulky waste collection initiative Desbarassa-ne-tot is back. A sort of temporary ecological island, available to citizens who need to dispose of bulky waste. This time, however, the operators will only collect valorisable fractions, therefore hard plastic, iron, wood and household appliances.

«Only fully recoverable bulky waste can therefore be delivered», warn the Environment office of the Alghero municipality. There will also be a hooklift dedicated to aggregates. Citizens will therefore be able to get rid of old bathroom fixtures, rubble, tiles, shower trays, building debris, etc. (excluding plasterboard) that come from small DIY domestic works.

However, debris from the work of construction companies/companies which must follow other channels for disposal will not be accepted. In order to supervise the activity in question, in addition to the presence of the operators, the Barcellare company will be present on site to facilitate the transfer operations.

Here are the dates and the workers at the stations:
Sunday 4 February via De Gasperi from 8am to 12pm.
Sunday 11 February Largo Costantino (S. Agostino district) from 8am to 12pm.
