Dense fog in Cagliari, flights diverted to Elmas. Slow paced cars and long queues

Dense fog in Cagliari and inconvenience from the early hours of the morning for those returning home from dinner or from the party in the square for the Blanco concert .

At Cagliari-Elmas airport, four incoming flights were diverted to Alghero , while those to Rome and Krakow did not depart.

Visibility, reduced to almost zero on the streets around the city, forced cars to travel at a crawl, with long queues exiting.

Fog banks formed at the junction for Cagliari (incinerator road) and in the city between via dei Valenzani and viale Ciusa . Fortunately, no serious accidents were recorded, as reported by the traffic police.
