Cagliari woke up under a thick fog which, as often happens, caused delays in the departures and arrivals of flights at Elmas airport.

There were no hijackings this morning, even though two flights from Turin and Rome Fiumicino orbited Capo Carbonara for a long time before the reopening of the airport which allowed them to land.

This morning the Ryanair departed 40 minutes late (at 6.40 instead of 6) for Turin, while the 6.30 flight from Italy to Fiumicino departed at 8.40. An hour and a half delay also for Ryanair bound for Malpensa, which took off at 8.43, according to the Sogaer website, instead of 7.15. The same fate befell another Ita flight to Rome, which departed at 8.50 instead of 7.20. The Ryanair flight to Bergamo took off at 10.12, and not at 9.15.

And what happened this morning also had repercussions on subsequent flights: the Ita plane to Fiumicino departed almost two hours late at 11.05, while the Ryanair flight to Paris (scheduled departure at 11.30) only took off at 12.50.

In terms of arrivals, two hours of delay are also expected for the Ita flight from Fiumicino (landing scheduled for 12.06 and not 10.20), an hour and a half for Ryanair arriving from Malpensa (landing at 12.35 instead of 11).
