In Alghero, the president of the Council Commission for the Environment and Health, Christian Mulas, together with the councilor for Public Works, Antonello Peru, carried out an inspection of the cemetery, highlighting a situation of severe degradation.
An urgent meeting was therefore called for next Wednesday together with the sector manager Alessandro Alciator.
«The inspection highlighted failures on the part of the company that currently manages our cemetery on an extended basis», continues Mulas, anticipating the desire to analyze the guidelines of the new cemetery contract together with the municipal manager and also to promote a change to the old regulation. In particular, the president of the commission refers to the ban on access for dogs, "a rule that absolutely must be changed".
