THE ACCIDENT - The tragedy took place yesterday shortly before 9:30 , in the south pier of the plant: the worker, who worked on behalf of a contract company, Turismar , fell from a height of just a meter and a half , but perhaps panicked and weighed down by safety shoes and work clothes, he was unable to swim to safety. The attempts to rescue the colleagues were useless. The body was recovered an hour later by the men of the Port Authority and by the firefighters to be transferred to the University Polyclinic of Monserrato for autopsy examinations.
