He had always been D'Aquila's lifeguard: Maurizio Mentasti passed away this morning at the age of 55. The fate of a premature death unites him to his brother Renato, also a well-known face of the Poetto plant in Cagliari.

Mentasti was the son of Mafalda D'Aquila: he had worked on the beach since he was fifteen. Today he was found lifeless on the sofa in his home. He had been ill for some time.

He leaves his wife Luisa and daughter Alessia. And the condolences unite the thousands of Cagliari citizens who knew him.
