On social media, she's known as a " cycling queen ," a true influencer in the cycling world. Irina Krupovich, with over 60,000 followers on Instagram , chose Sardinia as a stop on her cycling journey last month. But at the end of the trip, her verdict was anything but enthusiastic: " I'll come back for the beach, but never again to ride my bike. Drivers are out of their minds ."

His story was shared on social media. Helmet on, racing glasses, and a camera on the handlebars, Krupovich documented his days in the saddle amid breathtaking views and roads that were anything but welcoming to cyclists. " After a few days cycling in Sardinia, I can say this with certainty: the beaches and the sea? Absolutely wonderful. The cycling culture? Nonexistent. If you like extreme riding and aren't afraid of the occasional close encounter with a car, Sardinia awaits you," the athlete wrote.

There's nothing wrong with the sea and the scenery, "for which I'll be back," he specifies. But the two-wheeled experience turned out to be a nightmare: "The drivers are out of their minds. One of our group even got hit ," he says, commenting on a video showing "a woman completely alone on the road: first she started signaling, then she stopped only to insult the cyclist, and, before driving away, she topped it off with a rude gesture."

His final greeting sounds like a sentence : " Goodbye Sardinia, splendid to visit, but terrible to cycle through ."
