The Canto a Cuncordu group from Cuglieri arrives in Gallura, enhancing this ancient and welcoming land and creating a special union between the ancient melody of Montiferru and the local singing traditions. Sos Cantores, a historic group of Canto a Cuncordu singers from Cuglieri, will perform their songs in the evocative Basilica of Nostra Signora di Luogosanto, tomorrow, Sunday, September 6th, at 10:00 a.m. This musical event is a significant part of the Isole che parla festival, conceived and directed by brothers Paolo and Nanni Angeli.

A special event combining art and religion to pay homage to the festival that has illuminated Gallura for thirty years , and to consolidate the enduring friendship that binds the Angeli brothers and Sos Cantores, with whom they share a passion and musical affinity. A festival that captivates enthusiasts and celebrates the island, a crossroads of ongoing dialogue between contemporary music, traditions, photography, and the arts, intimately intertwined with the places and landscape.

Sos Cantores, active for over thirty years, will be the protagonists of the cultural event, touching the depths of the spirit with their singing in Cuncordu, an ancient tradition that continues to live and is jealously passed down, preserving and enhancing the identity of the Cuglieri community.
