Traffic lights that went out of synchronization between Piazza Matteotti and Lungomare 11 Settembre (via Roma on the port side) and two accidents on the median axis sent traffic on the main roads of Cagliari into a tailspin.

A black dot rush hour for motorists who moved tonight in the capital.

To create the greatest inconvenience on the western side of the city was a problem with the traffic light system that governs the junction of Piazza Matteotti, exiting towards Viale La Plaia: the various greens and reds were not coordinated and the intersection was crowded with metal and of disoriented and angry motorists. The blockade has created repercussions up to viale Colombo and up towards viale Merello and viale San Vincenzo.

While this problem was being resolved, with local police officers busy restoring order, there were two - by now classic - rear-end collisions on the middle axis. One, at the junction for viale Marconi, involved five vehicles and traffic towards Poetto was blocked. The inconvenience lasted for the entire time necessary for the reliefs.
