Covid, pressure on hospitals increases: in Sardinia intensive at 9%, ordinary wards at 11%
Both values, according to the latest survey by Agenas, are increasing on the island by one percentage point

New cases of Covid are galloping in the country, thanks to the new Omicron variant, and hospital wards are growing in hospital wards with symptoms.
On a national level, the occupancy rate of beds rises to 19% and, in 24 hours, it grows in 17 regions, including in Sardinia.
In the island, employment in intensive care goes to 9%, marking a + 1%, while in the ordinary wards it stands at 11%, and therefore registering also in this case a + 1% compared to the previous survey.
The most critical situations in ordinary departments, and well above the 15% threshold, are in Italy in Valle d'Aosta (45%, with a jump of + 9%), Calabria (31%) and Liguria (30%) . In addition to Sardinia, Abruzzo (at + 15%), Campania (18%), Emilia Romagna (17%), Friuli (24%), Lazio (17%), Lombardy (21%), Pa di Bolzano (17%), Piedmont (23%), Puglia (11%), Sicily (24%), Tuscany (15%), Umbria (24%), Veneto (20%).
