With the increase in infections, the number of hospitalized due to Covid is also growing in Sardinia.
On the island, the percentage of places in the ward occupied by Covid patients with symptoms rose to 6%, marking one percentage point more than the last survey.
However, the limit threshold of 15% is still far away, the exceeding of which constitutes one of the parameters that can determine the passage of the region into the yellow zone.
As far as intensive care is concerned, the situation on the island remains stable, with an employment percentage equal to 3% and therefore well below the limit threshold of 10%.
At a national level, according to data from the National Agency for Regional Health Services (Agenas), 6% of intensive care units and 8% of ward positions are occupied by Covid patients, a threshold however exceeded by individual regions.
The situation in Friuli Venezia Giulia remains critical, which has already exceeded the limit threshold of both intensive care (10%) and ordinary wards (15%) for the transition to the yellow zone.
