Slight decrease in new daily cases of Covid in Sardinia, in the latest update released by the regional authorities.
Here is the full bulletin released on Wednesday 21 October 2021: “In Sardinia today there are 24 further confirmed cases of COVID positivity (28 in the previous update, ed), based on 1636 people tested. A total of 4176 tests were processed, including molecular and antigenic.
There are 12 patients admitted to intensive care units (one more than yesterday).
The patients hospitalized in the medical area are 58 (one less than yesterday).
There are 1350 cases of home isolation (23 fewer than yesterday).
The death of a 95-year-old woman (yesterday zero victims, ed), residing in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari, is recorded.
