The hearing in the Supreme Court has been set for 20 April, which will deal with the appeal presented by the defender against the decision of the Surveillance Court of Rome which rejected a complaint against the application of the harsh prison imposed on him for four years .

"Such a long wait - Dr. Milia reiterates - is not compatible with Alfredo's physical conditions".

"He hasn't eaten for 100 days - he recalls - and this is already a unique case, he has lost more than 40 kilos , and the medical literature says that irreversible damage occurs when you lose half of your body weight", explains the doctor who tomorrow he will enter the prison again to visit Cospito. « He can not wait that long and he can not continue to stay in the prison of Sassari . His health conditions require transfer to a facility that can guarantee him the necessary health care. The situation is really borderline , he could collapse at any moment, at which point he will have to be hospitalized and force-fed. Only he's already written that he refuses to be force-fed.
