Reduced rates in the new tender for air territorial continuity that will be published by the summer. The Cagliari-Rome, for example, will cost no more than one hundred euros including taxes, compared to the current 147. This is one of the significant innovations in the draft with the changes to the current decree described today by Transport Councillor Barbara Manca in the Transport Commission of the Regional Council.

The other points of the new plan have been confirmed: an increase in frequencies, an expansion of the categories eligible for the discount compared to the current ones (for example, workers for all twelve months of the year and not just for the winter season) and better management of peak times.

The current continuity will be extended, the councilor confirmed. Extension that «will be preparatory to the completion of the tender. It is good that the service does not begin in the middle of a season for a question of organization of the companies. The extension will be six, or even 12 months.

Now, he added, "all the technical documents are ready. We had already delivered some of them to the ministry, to which we will now provide the latest version with all the aspects retouched. From there, discussions can be started in Europe. Obviously we do not have a precise timetable, but we expect to complete the ministerial decree during the summer (which must have a public evidence for at least six months because some operators could participate without compensation) and then the call for tenders will be launched".
