The new course of territorial continuity has not yet begun – the appointment is scheduled for next Sunday – but the problems and controversies are already in flight : especially in Alghero , the last airport to have had certainty about connections with Rome and Milan (tickets on sale for less than 48 hours), where the timetables are very far from fully guaranteeing the right to mobility . In particular those of the Alghero-Linate line, managed by Ita Airways.
The first take-off is scheduled for 8.55am, a time that "does not allow us to be in the centre of Milan before 11am , barring further possible delays", says the regional coordinator of the League Michele Pais .
And the Transport Councilor Barbara Manca who replies: «It is yet another criticality that we find ourselves forced to face. The choice of this time is unfortunately allowed by the Ministerial Decree of 2021 and we are working to find a solution».
For its part, the company replies: « The flight schedule was approved on October 18 by the competent authorities as it is in line with regulatory provisions ». A bit loose rules, perhaps: the morning time slot envisaged by the ministerial decree for Alghero airport is from 7 to 8:30 . To arrive at 8:55, Ita uses a paragraph of this document that allows a half-hour tolerance «for the purposes of efficient scheduling of outgoing and incoming flights».
