Noisy construction work has been suspended between 1 and 3 pm in Olbia and the tourist resort of Porto Rotondo.

The municipal administration, led by Settimo Nizzi, has decided to issue an ordinance that applies year-round, not just during the summer months.

The measure allows noisy work and activities only on weekdays, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Public works and emergency interventions are excluded.

Furthermore, the mayoral ordinance halting private construction work in Olbia's historic center and Porto Rotondo is in effect until August 20. The decision, adopted in July, is intended to protect the safety of residents and vacationers in the municipality while also allowing construction work to continue.
