He was serving alcohol to very young people and for the second time in less than two months he ended up in the police's sights: a well-known club in the Marina district, the center of Cagliari's nightlife, was closed for 10 days.
The decision came after a new police raid on the evening of May 17, when officers caught the club's staff serving alcoholic beverages to a minor.
The club, in fact, is not new to this type of violation. Already last March 29, it had been caught red-handed while serving cocktails to two fifteen-year-olds. In both cases, the owner was reported to the Judicial Authority for serving alcohol to minors, a crime that highlights repeated and alarming conduct, aggravated by the young age of the boys involved.
The closure order, notified on May 23 by the police headquarters, was issued by the Cagliari police headquarters precisely because of the repeat offence and the seriousness of the incident .
The intervention, coordinated by the administrative team of the administrative and security police division, is part of a broader plan of controls against alcohol consumption among minors in the historic center of the Sardinian capital.
