The frontal impact on the 387, then the carom with another car: 67 year old Cagliari died, five injured

One dead and five injured : this is the tragic outcome of a collision between three cars that took place in the night just before 2am on the 387 state road , at kilometer 6.5 near Selargius .

The victim is a 67 year old from Cagliari, Massimo Marongiu . The wounded were transported to various hospitals in Cagliari.

The three cars involved are a Hyundai, an Audi A3 and a Ford. Marongiu was traveling alone driving the first car which, for reasons still to be ascertained, collided almost head-on with the Audi traveling from Cagliari to Dolianova . The impact was very violent, Marongiu died instantly and his Hyundai also crashed into a Ford traveling towards Cagliari.

If the three occupants of the Ford only suffered bruises, the conditions of the two Audi occupants, both in hospital in red code , are much more serious. The five wounded are all from Dolianova .

The legal findings were carried out by the Selargius carabinieri and the Quartu mobile radio operating unit coordinated by Captain Gianni Russo, Lieutenant Ignazio Cabras, Lieutenant Giorgio Faedda and Marshal Daniel Lombardi.

The military investigations continue to ascertain any responsibility. The fire brigade and several ambulances are also on site.

On the 387 state road, long queues were immediately created with heavy inconvenience for everyone .
