Six sentences with suspended sentences and one acquittal.

The major penalties (2 years) were imposed on Carlo Ornano, Metrotranvie's operating manager, and on Walter Arru, manager of the ARST.

Acquitted - as requested by the prosecutor Guido Pani - another manager of the ARST, Sergio Romoli.

The first degree sentence recognized the 6 defendants responsible for the railway disaster, all of them were acquitted of the accusation of negligent injuries.
