The crash and then the violent bang to the point that the car's airbags were deployed. This is the scene that materialized just before 7pm in via Pascoli, in Porto Torres.

The second accident just a few hours away from another one that also took place in Porto Torres.

The toll is once again of two wounded, a woman with her son, both residing in Sorso.

They were on board an Opel Astra which, coming out from via Volta to merge into via Pascoli, collided with a Mercedes that was proceeding in the same street, towards via Balai.

The violent impact made the Opel carambulate, which ended its run against the boundary wall of a cultural club, at the corner of the roadway.

The driver, a 62-year-old woman, together with her 24-year-old son, were injured and, immediately rescued by the 118 health workers, they were accompanied in red code to the Sassari hospital. Two ambulances and the firefighters were present for the safety of the vehicle and the reclamation of the road. Local police officers on site for surveys and reconstruction of the dynamics.

There was no lack of controversy over the lack of brightness of the road. "The causes of so many accidents in Porto Torres - complains one of the residents - are due to the poor lighting of the streets, some completely in the dark, the lack of adequate signage and bollards to limit speed".
