The mess of the civic market in via Mazzini in Oristano is complicated, closed for seven years waiting for the new one without having even one euro in cash.
Since 2017, the Municipality has transferred the traders to a room rented from private individuals at a cost of 78,000 euros a year. The councilor for production activities Rossana Fozzi had anticipated the project to transfer the structure to the other market in via Costa.
Excellent proposal except that one million euro is not enough to fix and equip the building.
"Amount that we don't have, so let's renew the lease", specified the councilor Fozzi. Speech closed, therefore. Another chapter that adds to the many of an endless story, dotted with many passages on which the Court of Auditors also sheds light. The Municipality knocks on the doors of the Region but finding at least two million euros is not easy after having obtained three a decade ago spent on projects and the parking lot close to the market that does not exist .
