A 20-year-old from Furtei fell into the trap set by a 41-year-old from Catania who published an ad for the sale of some spare parts for cars on a well-known website and convinced the young Sardinian to pay him 500 euros into a current account.

Once the transaction was made, the agreed goods were never sent and the seller was finally unavailable. He was identified by the carabinieri who reported him on the loose for aggravated fraud.
