There is a lack of reagents, no tests for thousands of patients. For this reason, a complaint is about to be filed with the Carabinieri for the impossibility of carrying out laboratory tests, since reagents have been missing in the Nuoro analysis laboratory since January 3rd. From Marghine the patients are directed to the analysis laboratory in Ghilarza, where however the agreement is about to expire.

A dramatic situation, which is creating inconvenience upon inconvenience. «We are faced with the denial of a fundamental right and an elementary level of assistance - says Francesco Nieddu, coordinator of the Committee for the protection of health of Marghine - we ask ourselves why the reagents are there in the other local health authorities and in Nuoro not. We know that in other places the problem was resolved immediately. If the uncomfortable situation persists, we are ready to lodge a complaint with the police."

Franco Scanu, president of the Union of Municipalities of Marghine, is categorical: «Everything is collapsing. We are concerned about the inaction of the leaders of the Nuoro ASL. We will address the situation with the mayors' assembly to take action on a situation that is affecting the entire territory." A 98-year-old woman with respiratory failure, who had blood samples taken at home, was forced to go to the blood sample center in Ghilarza, creating considerable inconvenience for the elderly woman and her family. «How much longer will we have to wait? - replies the health protection committee - The phenomenon occurs often but in other places the problem is immediately solved". There are 27 tests that cannot be carried out.
