Change of command at the Port Authority of Porto Torres. After two years at the top of the Turritan Coast Guard headquarters, Commander Gabriele Peschiulli leaves the city to take up a new position in Rome. The handover ceremony between the outgoing frigate captain Peschiulli and the new commander of the Porto Torres maritime district, Giuseppe Cannarile, is scheduled for next 8 September at 11 am, in the square of the same headquarters of the Captaincy.

After 26 months at the top of the Turritana Captaincy, Commander Peschiulli leaves his position for a new commitment at the central security body of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in Rome.

His successor, Commander Cannarile, boasts experience at the Port Authority of Savona where in recent years he held the position of head of the Navigation Safety service, head of the Technical, Security and Port Defense section and head of the Armament and Shipping section. On the day of the ceremony, the offices will remain closed to the public , but sea rescue and urgent equipment and shipping services will in any case be guaranteed.
