A ceiling light fell this morning outside classroom 1 B of the Sa Duchessa humanities center of the University of Cagliari, where previously there had been a detachment of fragments of the plaster paint and an infiltration of rainwater. The episode occurred during a lesson.
Because of the heat, one of the service doors of the classroom was opened and perhaps due to a gust of wind, the ceiling light that was outside came off. No one was hurt. The pieces of the lamp were collected by the professor himself who immediately informed the president of the Faculty of Humanities, Antonello Mura.
"The staff from the service that takes care of the infrastructure was immediately sent and in just under an hour the situation was resolved," said Mura. Clearly the episode that occurred in the same area as the previous ones worried the students: " They turned to us representatives seeking explanations and reassurances," Gaia Ruggeri highlights.
The president of the faculty spoke to two student representatives already in the morning explaining what had happened. "We are continuing with the scheduled interventions," Mura emphasizes, "today the lessons continued without any problems. The problem of water infiltration in the classroom has been solved, everything worked despite the downpour of the last few days."
