The dynamics of the accident in which a 57-year-old lost his life yesterday afternoon has been reconstructed, yet another tragedy along the Sardinian New East. At the end of the tunnel before the junction for Villasimius, the Kia driven by Aldo Ferraris, a native of Vigevano and resident of Porto Corallo, splashed on the wet asphalt, invaded the opposite lane and crashed into another car. The man died instantly. The 42-year-old who was traveling with him was rescued by 118 and transferred to the Brotzu hospital where she is in a reserved prognosis.

The two spouses who were in the small car, a Fiat Panda, heading towards Cagliari were injured, both are resident in Barisardo. They were taken to the Monserrato Polyclinic, their condition does not cause concern.

The carabinieri of the radio-mobile unit of San Vito and the firefighters of Sarrabus intervened on the spot.

The attempts to rescue Ferraris were useless, while the arrival of the helicopter rescue was requested for the friend.

In the evening the body was transferred to the morgue available to the family for the organization of the funeral.

The umpteenth tragedy that arrived a few hours after the one that occurred at Solanas, the victim was Stefano Naccarato, a 52-year-old cardiologist whose Golf swerved and crashed into a van arriving from the opposite lane.
