Remove waste from the edges of the municipal and provincial roads in the Castiadas area. The extraordinary cleaning operation began in recent days, "in a crucial period of the year for our community," explains Mayor Eugenio Murgioni, who is launching the "Castiadas fatti bella" campaign.

It is a "concrete manifestation of a philosophy that focuses on the well-being of our citizens and the experience of those who visit our territory. The main objective of the project is to guarantee the decorum, cleanliness and beauty of our municipality, not only during the tourist season but all year round".

The Municipality's commitment is aimed at transforming Castiadas "into a place where natural beauty integrates harmoniously with a well-kept and welcoming urban environment. Through continuous and structured interventions , we intend to preserve and improve our territory, making it increasingly a good living room and large garden of Southern Sardinia. This is not only to increase the tourist attractiveness of our area, but also to raise the quality of life of those who live and work here."

For Murgioni, it is essential that each citizen and guest do their part, respecting the environment and contributing to the maintenance of urban decorum: «A fundamental role in this process is played by separate waste collection, an opportunity we have available to reduce environmental impact and keep our municipality clean and tidy».
