The lawyer Flavio Rossi Albertini, defender of Alfredo Cospito, presented this morning to the Minister of Justice, Carlo Nordio, the request for revocation of the 41 bis for his client, detained in the Bancali prison in Sassari and on hunger strike for two months to protest against the regime placed against him for four years.

The request, he explains, "is based on new facts, not submitted to the knowledge of the surveillance court of Rome" which in recent weeks rejected a complaint by the defence. The document refers to "motivations for a sentence filed after the decision of the Capitoline court".

In these hours, the ex-keeper of the seals also intervened in the case Andrea Orlando who yesterday visited the prisoner together with a delegation of the Democratic Party : his conditions, he declared, are those "of a person who has suffered severe deterioration but is still clear-headed, very determined to carry on even if it comes at a risk to her health. There is no imminent danger but a constant risk.
