A day of extraordinary checks was held in Carloforte, where the Carabinieri of the local station, supported by the Cagliari Dog Unit, implemented a targeted service to prevent and combat drug dealing.

The operation, conducted since the early hours of the morning, particularly affected the areas frequented by young people, such as the Nautical Institute, and the main meeting places on the island.

The officers, accompanied by a drug-sniffing dog, conducted checks near the school, arousing the curiosity and attention of the students entering the classroom. The activity, in addition to ensuring effective control, also served as an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of avoiding all forms of addiction and promoting responsible behavior.
