Carbonia, thefts from dozens of parked cars: 50-year-old under arrest

He damaged a dozen cars parked in the northern part of Carbonia with a glass-breaking awl to steal money and objects inside , but he did not reckon with the alarm given by some residents and the prompt intervention of the police and carabinieri who they arrested him.

The episode took place last night near via Veneto and via Dalmazia , where the front and rear windows of about ten cars were shattered.

However, the action of the man, a 50-year-old local , did not go unnoticed and at the end of the raid, the police managed to block and arrest him on his way home. In his possessions various objects taken from nine cars parked in the vicinity of the street which were found to be damaged.

The man was arrested for aggravated theft in flagrante delicto .

Carbonia has recently suffered other heavy acts of vandalism , again to the detriment of cars.
