The mayor of Carbonia Pietro Morittu has issued an ordinance extending the obligation to wear a mask even outdoors from 6 to 5 until 6 January 2022.
The provision also provides for the mandatory use of anti-Covid protection devices also during the next public events sponsored by the Municipality, on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holidays and which foresee the influx of public in the streets and in the city squares.
To be exempted, only children under the age of six, people with diseases that are incompatible with the use of health devices, people accompanying the disabled and whose use of the mask prevents communication, those who play sports.
"I still ask the citizens to be patient, observing the rules in the interest of all - explained the mayor - compared to a few weeks ago, the situation has improved thanks to everyone's contribution. Let's continue on this path".
Currently in Carboni there are 44 positives, while 40 people are in quarantine.
