Carbonia, head-on collision: injured motorists

Head-on accident at the traffic lights in Piazza Repubblica in Carbonia.
Two small cars moving in the opposite direction, a Citroen C3 and a Chevrolet Matiz, collided around 8 pm.
The police car for the reliefs, the fire brigade intervention team and three 118 ambulances, including the medicalized one, intervened on the spot.
The occupants of the vehicles were transported to the Sirai hospital in Carbonia for investigations but they would not be serious.
The two cars remained in place for some time, causing slowdowns at the busy city crossroads, until the tow trucks arrived.
