A car caught fire last night on Provincial Road 68, between Tiria and Siamanna, in the Oristano area. According to reconstructions, the fire broke out while the vehicle was in motion .

The alarm was raised around 9:20 PM, when the operations room of the Oristano provincial fire department received a call for assistance. Firefighters responded quickly and managed to put out the fire.

Initial investigations revealed that the fire was caused by the engine overheating while the car was in motion. The driver managed to pull over and walk away from the vehicle before the flames spread, but was unharmed.
