The fire brigade ascertained the accidental nature of the fire which damaged a car parked in via Ungaretti , in Bono . The flames from the engine compartment of a Mercedes A-class destroyed the front of the vehicle .

The owner, a 30-year-old young man with a clean record, noticed the fire and alarmed the 115 operations room and the police. The firefighters of the Bono detachment put out the blaze , preventing the flames from spreading towards the home of the owner of the car.

The carabinieri were also on the spot who, having verified the accidental nature of the fire, hypothesized a short circuit . The hypothesis of the arson act is excluded .
