An anonymous letter containing threats and warning phrases was delivered this morning to the Town Hall in Capoterra to the mayor Beniamino Garau, to the deputy Silvia Sorgia and to various municipal councilors and to the deputy mayor Silvia Sorgia.
«This threatening letter is a serious act that undermines democracy and the role of us public administrators - says the mayor, Beniamino Garau - intimidating gestures and threats will have no effect on our political action. We will continue without fear on a daily basis in defense of security and legality, at the service of citizens and the community".
Strong condemnation also by the deputy mayor Silvia Sorgia who reiterates her "condemnation of these threats and allegations against the mayor and local administrators with intimidating methods".

This morning Garau filed a complaint with the carabinieri at the local station, who will conduct the investigation to find the author of the letter.
"Listening and dialogue will always prevail over threats and intimidation," concludes Garau.
