Capoterra, bridges to be demolished and rebuilt: Sulcitana closes for three months

Inconveniences are coming for all motorists travelling on the SS 195 Sulcitana, a road already tested in recent years by numerous restrictions for works. From 6 am tomorrow, Thursday 10 October, until midnight on 31 January 2025, traffic will be closed from kilometre 12,800 to kilometre 13,280, on all lanes , in the municipal territory of Capoterra from Frutti d'Oro to just before Torre degli Ulivi.

The reason is linked to the construction site for the demolition and reconstruction of the bridges at the Rio San Girolamo and Rio Masone Ollastu. Traffic will be temporarily diverted onto a new road : in the direction of Pula, at the height of the locality of San Girolamo, it will move onto Viale Europa and then Via dei Genovesi. In addition, from kilometer 12,360 to kilometer 13,605, the section open to traffic will have a speed limit of 30 km/h and a ban on overtaking.
