Today is a day of grief and silence. Two families, devastated by the tragedy that occurred last Tuesday in Cala Fighera, will pay their respects to Manola Mascia, 28 years old from San Michele, and Paolo Durzu, 33 from Quartu, the fiancés who died after falling forty meters from the cliff in what appears to have been a tragic accident.

The young woman's funeral will be held in the parish of the Miraculous Medal, in her neighborhood, in San Michele. And many will gather around her father Massimiliano, her mother Cristina and her brother Michele, including numerous friends and biker "brothers" who are passionate about motorcycles like Manola Mascia's father.

Almost at the same time, the other funeral in the parish of Sant'Antonio in Quartu, to pay farewell to Paolo Durzu. Destroyed by grief, his mother Antonella Contu, his father Antonio, his brother Mario and his sister Raffaella. "I miss you so much. You should have gone to live alone, not die", the words of his mother.

According to the investigations carried out by the investigators of the Flying Squad, after the recovery of the bodies carried out by the Fire Brigade and the Coast Guard, the couple would have fallen from the Cala Fighera cliff due to a tragic fatality. An accident that has thrown into despair the families of two young people who had their whole lives ahead of them.
